   It’s a media center. A place for all of your digital entertainment files and such to come together for ease of use and access. It can play movies, music, photos, games, emulators, access the internet, it’s basically a computer. The Xbox is quite a powerful device, for it’s time.

   XBMC is a dashboard replacement that lets you launch games, play very video format known to man, run emulators. Turns a crappy xbox into a very nice device.

    The internal drive is replaced with a 500GB drive. So most of the stuff is in the drive but I do have shares on another PC as well.

    Is the XBMC reading what’s on your pc’s harddrive via network, or is it a fully modded xbox with a beefed up harddrive? I know the original xb’s drive is about 8gb. Thank you, great video.

    Yes you can. Just name the thumbnail to be the same but with a TBN extension I believe.

    so if you have a movie called jurassicpark.avi, name the thumbnail, jurassicpark.tbn

    no it doesnt but you can flash the firmware on it to play burned copies of games.

    You dont have dvd cases for your videos.
    nor do you have wide icns for your emulators.
    Mine is alot better.

    Got mine softmodded with a 500 gig hdd! used xbhdm to prepare the drive, xbpartiontioner to format a 480 gig F: drive, installed XBMC my next project will be a terabyte xbmc monster
