Will the iPad go on “sale” anytime soon? (Price drop like iPhone)?
Reader question: I was debating whether or not to get an iPad but after seeing some reviews I really want one however, I was wondering what other people thought, if they thought the price would drop a few bucks within the next coming weeks or not!? Apple will probably wait until after 3G is out for a while to decide I'm sure but I don't know any statistics on if it selling how they hoped and I was wondering if they are selling or is it in the matter that they may drop the price like they did the iPhone, and I should wait? Thanks for your opinions!

It’s is true that apple tends to lower their prices a lot after they put them on the market, but in the ipad info video they said that it’s is starting at a low price so they don’t have to lower it like their other products. I would wait til one of your friends has it or go to an apple store and try out the features and how fast it is. They are always are constantly updating their products. But If your satisfied with what the ipad has to offer, then buy it.

I would not expect any lower prices for at least 3 months, probably 6.
