Will the iPad 3G charge an additional data rate?
Reader question: I already have an iPhone 3g with unlimited Internet. Will AT&T add an additional Internet fee to my plan or will it be included with my iPhone fee?

I’m not sure. I’m assuming they would, but there isn’t much information about it. You should check at one of the AT&T Stores.

Hi the one and only,
a good question!
The ipad will come in two versions.
This February the regular version wit no 3g will come out and later on this spring the 3g able version will come out and cost an additional $130.0 which you pay because it is 3g enabled.
The data plan is $30.00 unlimited and any AT&T sim card will work so go ahead and pit it in the ipad and it should work.
However be aware that AT&T can and will check what sim is in whatn device and they may enforce An ipad only plan.
Until then have fun. Too bad iac doesn’t make or receive phone calls huh?

I think(from what I heard) that it’s no contract, so you can have 3G for one month, go with for like 3, and go back on later.
They will just bill it to a credit/debit card or something.
