Will Amazon release a new Kindle before the iPad comes out?
Reader question: The iPad looks okay, but I really want more of a dedicated reader device, or at least something more easy on the eyes than the iPad. So I'll be waiting on the next generation of the iPad or just buy the next Kindle. I've read about some really cool screens (Qi or Mirasol) Amazon could use to incorporate color into the Kindle, so... Has anyone heard anything or have any ideas about when the next Kindle will come out?

They haven’t made any sort of announcement yet and they’ll probably keep it pretty close until its time for the release. So no new kindle on the horizon, but in 3-4 months? who knows.
