What is the difference between the xbox 360 Pro and the xbox 360 Arcade?

Reader question: What is the difference between the xbox 360 Pro and the xbox 360 Arcade besides the price? I am going to buy one but i don't understand why one is cheaper than the other. And if you have any recommendations on which ne to buy please comment.

  1. Arcade comes with 5 free arcade games that you normally have to pay for. it does not come with a hard drive to save game demos to or videos and music and pictures. Your best bet is to get the refular one for $350. It comes with 2 games and a 20GB hard drive. For more info go to Xbox.com

  2. The difference is the Arcade comes with no harddrive. you must either buy a hard drive or memory card for the Arcade. The Pro, however, comes with a good hard drive. I would strongly recommend the Pro. a little more money, a lot more worth it.

  3. The pro has a mic, hard drive, wireless controller, HD component cables, and that pretty much it.

    The arcade has nothing

Just go there and itll tell you the accesories.

  4. Look in the bottom left of this page. It compares side by side all of the Xbox 360 consoles

  5. the pro does not have free argade game but has awesome hard drive

Look At The Comparison Of Features, I Went Pro ^_^

  7. Get the Pro. Thats the one with the hard drive, which increases the price from the Arcade. Whereas the Arcade has a tiny 256MB memory unit for storage for your game saves, the Pro has the 60GB hard drive. Trust me, any gamer needs a hard drive if they want a 360, I learnt that the hard way.

Completed unsolicited and worthless random fact:
Dr. Samuel A. Mudd was the physician who set the leg of Lincoln’s assassin John Wilkes Booth, and whose shame created the statement for ignominy, “His name is Mudd.”
