What if H1N1 virus was a test made by the government?

Reader question: This is a scenario. You are a news reporter. You have a lot of business contacts and you learn from one of your contacts that the H1N1 virus is a test made by the government. You have to find a way to tell the people that and make sure that to the people that you don't sound crazy or they don't go out in riots.

  1. Ya no kidding ive thought about it too, and frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if it was

  2. yes. it was done in area 51!

  3. OMG, I can see this ballooning into another conspiracy hoax. The government is not into killing it’s citizens. But if it was, and you had absolute positive proof, a reporter should report it with the facts. Americans are smart enough to figure out if it’s b.s. or not.

  4. H1N1 was created by humans, and it’s not as worse as everyone says it is. It’s just really spreading really fast..

  5. This is the office of homeland security, be quiet about our little plot or we’ll come get you.

  6. I believe that there would be no way to tell the general public that news without sounding crazy or causing riots. H1N1 is a serious threat that everyone has taken extreme caution to, and it would seriously anger the entire world if they found out the truth.

  7. Geez, if the “news” reported was an idiot (which most are) then they would surely run around spreading all sorts of odd conspiracy theories all over the place. For Pete sakes…anyboy can look up the tracks of this virus on the CDC and WHO websites. It’ not a secret…it’s a virus…a V*I*R*U*S*

It was first noted as coming in from Mexico and spreading from there. Read these if anyone wants to know the truth. They’re sourced right from the CDC. If the Gov. wanted to cause dismay and death in the US, there are certainly far more organized ways than to yack out a friggin’ virus which has been around forever on its own. Sheesh.

The phrase “rule of thumb” is derived from an old English law which stated that you couldn’t beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.
