   I have both, but I gotta go with guitar hero. They pretty much started the original rock based game craze and rock band just improved it. But then guitar hero got the whole band together and improved it more. Plus: Guitar hero van halen, really want that!

   Harmonix didn’t steal shit, they made GH1, GH2, and GH80′s. But then they made Rock Band and Activision took over Guitar Hero.

   guitar hero 3 was supposed to be rovk band, but harmonix stole the engine and left gh with nothing so thay made rocks the 80s then 3 months later gh3

   Rock Band. The only guitar heroes I’m a big fan of are II and Aerosmith. Rock Band is alot easier to me, the instruments are more real, and if you ask me all the games after Aerosmith can suck it, World Tour, Guitar Hero 5, metallica all ripped off rock band by using drums and microphones almost exactly alike, yet people praise it like it’s, ”soooo great bla bla bla.”

   rock band is definitely harder. but hey its my opinion. ive beaten every guitar hero on expert no sweat, even on drums. rockband 1 was crap but rockband 2…i havent found a better music game. none of the guitar hero games can even touch it. the only one that even comes close is guitar hero 5. but guitar hero has no marketplace establishment at all.

    guitar hero wins without a doubt but they should focus more on picking good songs rather than developing the other instruments. it was so great and simple before but now its just dumb with the drums and singing

    There’s Rock Band, Rock Band 2, Lego Rock Band, The Beatles Rock Band, Rock Band Unplugged, and several others that I’m forgetting.
    If we’re not counting Unplugged, then we’re not counting the god aweful GH games on the DS. Besides, most GH games are now more like band packs. And the way RB is speeding up, it’ll end up the same way very soon.

    its hard cuz gh brings out the real drumming cuz of the cymbals and easier to control kicks but rock band hands down has best selection of songs. Gh needs to step up there game for downlodable content but they do have a bigger aaray of game modes to get you into the songs more without getting tired of them quickly. if it was battle of there tribute games it might lean more on rockband because the beatles are very higly known and mettalica is aswell. But rb wud when because of Rb:Green Day comin
