Roger Daltrey’s voice sounds great…easily the best lead singer in rock & roll.
Pete’s guitar work is at its’ best when he doesn’t try to outdo himself by playing tons of licks/riffs, or a solo. I hate when he fucking tries to play lead…but when he just sticks to what he does best (rhythm guitar), he is the best in the world.
I always liked Pino Palladino, but he’s certainly no Ox.
And, FUCK Ringo’s son. His drumming is bullshit. Doesn’t fit The Who at all. He’s fucking horrible.

I cant believe I lost $20 to a friend because Townshend didnt smash his guitar!
haha

Feel very fortunate to have seen them on their 25th Anniversary tour in Kansas City @ Arrowhead Stadium in the summer of 1989. It was hotter than hell that night, literally AND figuratively. Roger, Pete, John & the band just fuckin’ tore it UP. One of the greatest nights of my life.

Starkey is great, but no one could replace Moon.
February 18th, 2010 - 16:55
Why everyone says that they sucked at superbowl? I think they’re great, I mean sure they were better in 70′s but damn this isn’t too shabby for a bunch of sixty-year-olds.
February 18th, 2010 - 17:21
Zak Starkey is absolutely breathtaking, just like his father who inspired me to pick up the drums. And The Who! Legendary! Ahhh, what I would have given to have watched this live and not via my telly!
February 18th, 2010 - 17:40
Zac Starkey in drums, I definitely prefer him with the Who than with Oasis…also he´s wearing a nice shirt… Great performance
February 18th, 2010 - 18:19
True Legends! I totally envy my father as he saw them in a concert during the 60s!
February 18th, 2010 - 18:58

wonderbread you basically stolen the words outa my mouth to sum it all up in a sentence: most new music sucks, old music for life, rap isn’t music, its a bunch niggers trying to make ryhmes and noises.
February 19th, 2010 - 00:57
@WonderBread006 nope im not a rap fan. i despise GANSTA rap. i dont mind rapcore, but thats a different story.
and this ISNT an example of old guys singing good songs. this was torture to watch. torture. it was pathetic.
and the Haiti thing was just an observation…dumbass
February 19th, 2010 - 01:24
@townshendrocks sweet. I wish I could go. they’re awesome. It would be so amazing to have front row spots at the Albert Hall. The place is fucking huge. I saw Rog in a smaller venue in the US. his band is awesome too.
February 19th, 2010 - 01:25
Too bad Keith Moon had to die…
February 19th, 2010 - 01:41
@BlueRednGrey Ummm, dunno, its at the Albert Hall, March 30th, thats all I now, culd record it.. It’ll b IMENSE!!!!!
February 19th, 2010 - 02:14
@townshendrocks do you think they’ll record it? or release a bootleg…
February 19th, 2010 - 02:53
today’s music sucks…its either this or some retarded nigger making a fool of himself (NBA all-star game)
old guys singing good songs>>>>>young guys singing bad ones
and what does Haiti have to do with the Superbowl? that’s not the NFL’s responsibility, dumbass
and i hope u don’t listen to rap…u cant call yourself music freak and listen to rap, rap aint music
February 19th, 2010 - 03:40
woohoo, seeing them on March 30th, gonna fukin kick ass, a high tense adrenaline action performance, u wuldnt guess its being performed by a couple of 70 yr olds
