  1. dual lead vocals…smashing.

  2. great vid, saw the group in the Stax club in Cirencester the saturday before this was released,( released 2 days later)

  3. it’s a memory there

  4. i love this classic !!!!!!!!

    goodbye blackberry way !!!

    i don’t see you i don’t need you !!!!!

    lets shout this alltogether !

  5. definitely is spelt DEFINITELY. Like infinite…..remember that……

  6. They may be singing to a backing track but they are definately NOT miming. I have the original single and it sounds nothing like this. You can tell its live by the trouble they have in hitting some of the notes. I think this was their best single.

  7. Its the BBC And guess what …. ? They were miming !! It was compulsory as there were no mistakes !!!!

  8. brilliant

  9. They don’t make these ones longer…mainstream music today has no soul. Could have been on a Beatles-album.

  10. They all just look so mental. Just the hair. The hair alone…

  11. LISTEN! ALIVE! PERFECTION!

  12. Cont.
Do Ya – the first time around (buf springfield ref) not the commercial cut.
    Message from the County
Paul Mc can’t write great songs .. only rarely. John was the genius and it has nothing to do with his politics or him – Paul is more shallow but a nicer guy and I wish I could like Paul. I dislikes Wings. Not one great song. 3 good ones. HAHAHA

  13. imo. The best of the Move (but I haven’t heard everything – talk to Dave about that). Not necessarily in order of favs. And yeah I know a lot of their early stuff but I like their middle and later stuff the best so I am not overlooking as much as you think I am.. ha.
    YOUR beautiful daughter.
    This TIME tomorrow
The Last thing on my Mind
    Don’t Make My Baby Blue
    Blackberry Way
    Tonight – The Move
    Chinatown
    Down on the Bay
    California Man
    Hello Susie

  14. And for the better.

  15. @JLynnefan

Technically..Roy was singing lead here..you can hardly hear Carl for most of the song.

  16. @harfarhs

    What..he actually grinned ???

    Outrageous.

  17. Seems slightly slower than the original..and Carl Wayne looks like doesn’t really want to be there.

  18. @lechaise – Bev Bevan grins at 2.03

  19. I love the song, but i guess they had to play it to death because everyone in this performance looks s**t bored except Carl Wayne.

  20. The drum kits on two wooden pallets! Where is this filmed(?), and when – its brilliant.

  21. I think Carl and Roy are singing in unison, but Roy’s voice is louder in the mix.

  22. Marvellous..could’ve got someone to play the mellotron part though!

  23. I like the harry nilsson’s “good old desk” intro turned into a bridge. brilliant.

  24. The wet side of psychedelic england…Its always raining.

  25. omg very bad Beatles wanna-be song (Penny Lane).

Completed unsolicited and worthless random fact:
June Foray, the voice of Talking Tina from the classic Twilight Zone episode “Living Doll”, was also the voice of Rocky the talking squirrel from “Rocky & Bullwinkle”.
