With its body of 113×55×13.65mm, Magic weighs 118.5g. As compared with the previous generation G1, HTC Magic looks much more beautiful without the keyboard, though there's no big upgrade for hardware equipments. In the  aspect of hardware equipments, HTC Magic adoptes MSM7201A 528MHz as its CPU and 512MB ROM/192MB RAM as its memory, with a 3.2M pixel automatic focus camera on the back. Apparently, HTC Magic's memory equipment is better than G1's 256MB ROM/192MB RAM. Based on simple designed style on its four body sides, HTC Magic has only volume key on the left side and no keys on the right. There's charging indicator light near telephone receiver on its body top and USB charging interface which can be also used to connect to PC, as well as talking holes on its body bottom.

With Android system, HTC Magic performs well in the aspect of response speed. Though we were greatly disappointed at the linux operating system which has been employed by MOTO A and E series phones, Android operating system basing linux is much more satisfying. What's more, its sensitive touch screen also makes HTC Magic more attractive. Magic even supports gravity sensor function. An arch-rival for iPhone, don't you think? With Android system, HTC Magic also performs excellently in SMS and phone book. Although Magic has no tangible keyboard like G1, its system has built-in virtual keyboard which will operate automatically when words are input. Its key clicking accuracy is high with only 10% error rate while you input 20 letters.

HTC Magic supports online video playing and has built-in YouTube client. Magic video playing interface also supports gravity sensor function. With its bending body bottom, it is comfortable to hold Magic in sideway.

However, with its 3.2M pixe camera on the back body without LED camera flash and self-portrait mirror, HTC Magic may disappoint you by taking photos in shadowy place, especially at night. Above the camera, there are separate speakers.

As the second generation of Google phones, HTC Magic's improvement lies in its shape --- it is much more beautiful and fashionable to have no tangible keyboard than that of G1. As for the functional equipments, Magic and G1 are similar --- GPS navigation, wireliess WiFi, Bluetooth, USB2.0, 3.2M pixel automatic focus camera, etc.

Is there a better way to get to know Droid than comparing them to siblings Android(whether it is are cousins)? Carefully placed next to the beautiful Android Droid Motorola phones that you know and love: T-Mobile G1, HTC Magic(myTouch 3G), and Sprint HTC Hero. Once the Android phones have been heralded as the best phone available, but each will have to withdraw to the droid.

Droid Sprint HTC Hero vs

HTC Hero is currently the best available Android phone on the market. It packs a subtle curve lines and houses a professional appearance. We loved the build quality of the Hero, and still It feels great in your hand and soft, matte finish is still wonderful. Droid is different from the Hero in the curved lines instead of cutting and styling is bold and not safe. Droid and Hero are the same thickness, but the droid packs and slider QWERTY keyboard is much heavier.

The biggest difference between the two devices is screen size. Droid screen simply dwarfs Hero Droid and brightness that it offers really stunning. Finally, although we prefer holding the Hero, Droid is simply perfect style device.
HTC Droid vs. Magic(T-Mobile 3G myTouch)

HTC always thought Magic was the most underrated Android phone on the market. It was a fresh style and shape of the phone was well done have a small chin and good quality. The biggest complaint we could find information on the Magic was that he felt plasticky and borderline cheap. Although it is a fair complaint, the truth is, it gave more flexibility to the phone its lightweight, easy to store and fun to use.

In comparison with the droid looks the same, we think holds the best Magic permanent glossy black with Magic certainly lengthen its life. But when the hand is almost the opposite . All complaints about the plasticky feel the Magic, the Droid is the antithesis of that its all metal and glass. With this kind of structure, you can not help but feel that the robot is simply in another class than the HTC Magic.
Droid vs. T-Mobile G1

Android Look how far it has come in one year. We started a nice T-Mobile G1, and now dare-not-to-love-me status of Motorola Droid. Since they are both devices slider feels like Android full circle. droid is harder, heavier, more ambitious, thinner and just better in every respect in relation to the G1. And that certainly to be expected.

One difference was noted when both devices are closed, and acting in portrait mode, you can say that the G1 was a slider and the device does not automatically know that a droid as well. It is said to build quality Droid, because there are no weak points in its construction is so well built that you can believe its a disc-style device.
Droid vs. iPhone 3Gs

, and of course, what a musical would be a droid, if we did not bring iDont device that is the iPhone 3GS? For sure it in more detail later in the week, but for now you should know that droid and iPhone 3Gs are probably the two best style, best two built, the two best overall smartphone market. Android finally has a phone that can compete effectively with leader of the pack, iPhone 3Gs in every aspect.

What is most surprising for us is that even if the droid packs QWERTY keyboard slider, it still manages to be almost as thin as the iPhone 3Gs. In fact, the devices are of a similar height and width in paintings, Droid looks more difficult because of the rounded corners vs. iPhone 3Gs horns. Droid is definitely heavier than the iPhone, but gives a high quality, luxurious style droid.

And finally, when the pits next to each other. Droid screen after screen just puts to shame the iPhone 3Gs. Were not even joking. It is impossible to capture in photographs, but the difference in the text on the iPhone 3Gs looks almost blurry in comparison to the text of the droid. If youre happy with iPhone 3Gs, did not even look at the screens droid, there will be jealous. The specifications indicate that the droid packs 3.7-inch touchscreen 480854 at 240 dpi, compared with the iPhone 3.5-inch touchscreen 320480 at 163dpi. Yes, the droid on screen is amazing.

Yeah.............. If you can get you HTC Magic unlocked, it will surely work in Switzerland.
Unlocked phones work in every country unless there is some specific problem.
