I want to buy a Archos 605 4GB because I hear that the battery last longer, due to the fact that it dont have a hard drive like the Archos 30,80,160 GB. I like the fact that the 4GB Archos is smaller, I figure I will buy a extra flash memory card to go with it. I dont need alot of memory storage.

Best answer:

Answer by snow
its mostly a wash. designers opt for smaller batteries for flash players so you end up with about the same life as the hard drive versions.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who hasn't heard of the Xbox 360 game system. It is arguably the most popular gaming console on the market today. According to experienced users, it offers an indescribable game playing experience.

Its only flaw, which is certainly not in performance, is the fragility of Xbox 360 game disks themselves. Face it; they are nothing more than DVD disks. They snap, they crack, and they scratch. They can also be lost, and they are valuable enough to be attractive to thieves. They carry such inherent risk of damage or loss that copying Xbox 360 games to your hard drive is critically important.

Accidents happen. These game disks can be easily snapped in two, and it's inevitable that they become scratched over time. When scratches become bad enough, the Xbox games can become unplayable. Damaging a game disk can be upsetting and costly. Not only are you left with an unplayable game, you're faced with the high cost of replacement. The risk of such an accident causing you inconvenience or financial hardship can be eliminated by copying Xbox 360 games to your hard drive.

Once you have stored the game on your hard drive, you can re-copy it from the hard drive to a blank DVD disk. Use the backup disk to play the game and put the original away for safekeeping. This may sound a bit complicated, but it really is not. Simply follow the steps given below.

1. Download the special software application that is required to copy Xbox games to a hard drive.

2. Install the software, and click the new desktop icon to open the application.

3. Insert the original game disk into the computer.

4. Follow the software's screen instructions to burn the game to the hard drive.

5. Remove the original disk from the drive and replace it with a blank DVD disk.

6. Follow the software's screen instructions to copy the game file from the hard drive to the blank DVD disk.

You now have a backup copy of your original Xbox 360 game disk. Play it once to ensure that the copying process was completed properly and that the game plays as expected. Keep the backup copy available for everyday use, and store the original game disk in a safe place.

Copying Xbox 360 games to a hard drive to create backup copies is a simple task when you buy good quality Xbox 360 game burning software and follow the step by step instructions that are included with the software. After doing so, you can enjoy your Xbox 360 games without worrying about damaging your original game investments.

Hate's a strong word, I know. So is despise, and loathe and abhor. Hates the shortest of the bunch, so I'll keep using it.
I hate hard drives. Why? Their fragility. I don't mean delicately beautifully fragile like a butterfly or a glass sculpture. I mean ugly, crappy fragile.‘Way too easy to give up the ghost' fragile!
I speak of my despicably departed PC laptop's hard drive. It took many irreplaceable family photos and single copies of some favourite e-books and software with it.
Why didn't you back it all up, dumbass? You might well ask that. And I did.On a 500gig hard drive which then threw a wobbly and wiped out two years of data. The same two years that had existed originally on my laptop.
Still, as life would have it, hate has turned into love. One door closes and another opens.
Cloud computing. My e-books are now safely tucked away in my Audible library. My writing lives in WordPress. My video clips are on Vimeo and my photos are on Photobucket.
But hang on, Edwin. Your stuff's still on hard drives. Much bigger ones, but the tech is essentially the same. And do you feel cool putting all of your info and work in the hands of faceless corporations?
I don't know. Are you cool with putting your money in the bank, or would you rather keep cash stashed in shoe boxes all over the house?

Cloud computing is a modern It technique which is really helpful for all IT related business organizations and is very helpful in increasing your presence on global level.
