The bat on the Bacardi symbol is there because the soil where the sugar cane grows is fertile from the excessive guano (bat droppings.)

I am from Russia, and buckwheat is very popular there. Most of my non-russian friends are buckwheat fans due to the taste. Thank you for this video it helped explain that it is also GOOD for you.

Natalie, I love your videos because:
1) you’re easy on the eyes
2) you present useful info in an engaging manner
3) you are not “pushy” or arrogant in your presentation
4) did I mention that you’re easy on the eyes?

Thank you Dear

buckwheat helps regulate blood sugar because it’s high in fiber, there are many fruits that are good for you but are still high on the glycemic index. They used to sell buckwheat pancakes just in health food stores. I think today they sell it in supermarkets.

How healthy is Oat Bran? I have “Quacker” Oat Bran and “Bob’s Red Mill Oat Bran. They both feel different, (when dry) the Quacker is real soft almost feels “floury”, and Bob’s Red Mill feels more “gritty”

Great video. Definitely going to try some buckwheat pasta (soba) and maybe some buckwheat pancakes. I love that it’s gluten-free.
This video goes well with the video about the Japan vs. USA diet.

@lextastic
Thankyou for confirming what I was thinking. This was a good video, but Rutin is an important factor about buckwheat which makes it so healthy.
Also, buckwheat has 30% of all the calcuim you need for the day. Rose Hips is also high in the amazing Rutin.

Whey powder? Would that be protein powder? thats not a really good protein. Sun warrior raw/vegan brown rice protein is a really high quality one and yes it matters.
