    The reason sonic is in a kart is because the drift mechanics wouldnt work with any of the characters if they were using there legs for racing instead. As such the developers decided ALL characters had to be in a vehicle to the game to work properly… having played the demo i gotta admit sonics kart looks awesome and i didnt mind one bit he was using it for transport.

    The Reason why he needs a Car cause he’s too fast so to be fair he uses a Car like everybody else.
