And also, the last boss dwells deep inside the planet, and the place had lavas around.
Some people have said Super Metroid, Contra, and even Megaman, but it’s not them. I’m pretty sure this game exists! So please help me!

Hey guys, I need help trying to find out this old game that I used to play back then on the Snes!
It’s a about a guy who lands on planet ( or Earth, maybe ) and kills Aliens by shooting crystals ( or something cuboid ) from his chest. He doesn’t wear any helmet, and the first level starts in a forest.
As you complete a level, during the loading, it shows a big map of what levels you’re going to go next, very much like Ghost & Goblins. There’s also some shootemup’ levels like Gradius. Help me!

I agree with all these games are good but for Alien 3. It must be that its not that good of a movie making the game not so good for me but anyway great list.

Update: Final Fantasy II is now available on the Wii Virtual Console. So now, 23 of these 60 games are available on Virtual Console.

Remember how there were always these incredibly implausible rumours about secrets in 16-bit games and you were too young to know any better? You’d have this friend who would be like “yeah, in Final Fantasy III, if you have 41 of each item and you play it during the full moon, you can fly the airship to the moon! Ken and Ryu from Street Fighter 2 are there and they’ll join your party if you beat them.”

it was good, if the god damn technology wasnt so expensive at the time there would have been more games, I would actually get out my SNES and go buy SNES games if they started making new ones and selling the cartridges today.
