  1. These remotes are not bad. But one of them broke all of sudden after 4 month of use.

  2. Purchased in October 2008 as part of Skylink SC-1000 Complete Wireless Alarm System.

Works well, haven’t had to change battery yet.

Has a communication range of around 25ft, with only a few obstacles in between.

Your mileage may vary depending on the environment in which you use it. (i.e. My walls are wooden)

  3. I purchased this with my Skylink System about 7 months ago and it has worked without any problem so far. It is handy that you can arm, disarm and activate panic alarm with a push of the button. Although, I would recommend that you do not disarm the system until you have entered the house. That way if you hear the 15 second count down you know that no one is in your house (most likely).

  4. Works well and was easy to set up. Has 3 alarm buttons and a panic button.

  5. I got this remote with BOTH of my Skylink alarms and really like the size. But I find that the buttons are sort of upside down compared to most remotes for like car alarms and stuff. Usually the top left arms, top right disarms, but this one is backwards. I also which one of the wasted button would work for my garage door opener but it doesn’t. Pretty good distance for this remote. Don’t like the white (prefer black).
