   Htc is better but for a first phone the blackberry is very decent.

   well… based on popularity now-a-days… EVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   why????? 1) Its an Andriod phone!!!! 2) its the first USA 4G phone!!!! 3) its not a Blackberry! LOL 4) its not a Windows OS phone..Like x 1000000000 5) its so totally news while the bold is “been there done that” 6) the andriod market for apps is MORE wicked better than Windows Mobile Marketplace… more apps, better quality…

   So, if you love you daughter, and would like to see her friends go gooo-gooo and ga-ga over her new birthday present… go EVO… you’ll be the bestest mom ever

   Of course she would probably prefer an EVO but you will probably want her to get a BB and I would actually say the Curve II over the Bold. Curves are rated number one for customer satisfaction! The EVO is an amazing phone but it is going to cost you an extra $10 a month with the premium data charge. It is a lot for anyone but much more than a 15 year old is going to need. If she wants a touchscreen then you could go with the Hero and save. The Hero is a great phone and has the Android 2.1 update available. The EVO has a snapdragon processor and HD capabilities and more than she will ever use, but the Hero has proven to be a great phone that is more sensible for teenagers. Any touchscreen is more likely to need service and it is more likely that it will get physical damage resulting in having to pay the deductible for insurance. With a BB you are more likely to just have software problems that can be fixed in store!

   I just got the HTC Evo yesterday and it freaking awesome, i love every thing about it but one thing that i hate is that the battery run out really fast specially if you have the 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS on. But its still way better then the Blackberry Bold.

   get her an evo! they are nice, slick, and extremely powerful. . . and as long as you don’t mind an extra 10 dollars a month then evo is the best choice, blackberry’s are business phones, and the evo is a multimedia phone perfect for any teenager!
