I was very disappointed because an entire chapter was missing from this book. I have been buying textbooks for over a year and this is the first time I have had a problem.

Book in great condition and priced well. Seems informative so far but no other material to compare it with to say how informative it is.

This is a book about network security. It’s in-depth, and informative. Like any good book out there, it has lots of pages. You can read these pages and learn information about things. Really cool.
Doesn’t seem like it would break. It may be flammable, so watch out while you’re smoking and reading it. I recall hearing a problem with moisture as well from another review. Pages’ ink have a tendency to smear if wet. That can be avoided by not getting the book wet. Doesn’t really stand up to bending. I had a dog-eared page in mine when it arrived. Almost returned it for being defective.
What do you want me to say?
It’s a book. A pricey schoolbook. Would’ve been a fun review if I didn’t NEED it and simply bought it on a whim.
In all seriousness, it’s a really well written book with lots of great information. Helped me pass my class. BUY USED, SAVE COIN!

Needed the book for school but was too expensive from B&N and my schools book store, so I checked Amazon and found it for $30 less. Its a great book, very up to date, gives great examples and comes with a CD I still haven’t checked out.

This book was required for an online course and i found it to be very adequate and informative. if one does the exercises and labs that are associated with the book they can gain a valuable insight into the field of network technology and skills to protect themselves and their organizations.
