Through the years ‘The Preservation Hall Jazz Band’ has recorded some very good New Orleans jazz music. This album (to benefit Preservation Hall and the Preservation Hall Music Outreach Program) is excellent. They brought in many fine musicians to record songs with them. Some of the musicians include: Tom Waits, Ani DiFranco, Pete Seeger, Brandi Carlile, Richie Havens, Merle Haggard, Dr. John, Steve Earle, and many others. If you like New Orleans jazz music, you will love this album.
