Oct 2, 2009 PWNAGETOOL 3.1.3 UPDATE Summary : not very exciting update, but it now adds support for 3gs and ipod 2G to jailbreak in 3.1, you must however be already pwned before you can update to 3.1. Which is why i call this a preserve Jailbreak. Redsn0w version for windows coming soon according to the iPhone DevTeam I'll be updating you guys with everything JB, make sure to be subscribed and STAY TUNED! --------------------------------------------------- REGARDING NEW PWNAGETOOL 3.1.3 ✔ Added iPhone 3GS support (must be pwned/jailbroken at 3.0 before using it to JB 3.1) ✔ Added iPod Touch 2G support (must be pwned/Jailbroken at 3.0 before using it to JB 3.1) #1) Use REDSN0W in this guide below to JB with 3.0 first. www.youtube.com #2) Then after you jailbreak 3.0, you can then move on to preserve your JB and unlock. Men could you keep me update if ever the JB for 3.1.1 touch for Windows will be out. I am really having a hard time trying to downgrade my 3.1.1 to 3.0 just to be able to JB. My only hope is to come with the JB for 3.1.1 then I will just do it by that time… Thanks

Thanks for showing us how you did it but it did not really work for me.
I have used (UnlockYourAppleiPhone . Com) and it did the job.
Just a couple of minutes and my iPhone is now unlocked and works great.
I can now really enjoy my iPhone!

oww so i will do ONLY this? no DOWNGRADING to 3.0? okay..i will give it a try. i ddont need 3Gs for just Video camera and QIK streaming .i just need CYDIA. and what about battery? jailbroken iphone ‘s battery drain quicker than normal?

its not unlocking, this is jailbreaking, and this is THE ONLY procedure to install cydia.

you can still jailbreak but not unlock so yes get cydia and install cycorder

you have to get the stuff all over again but i updated and used aptbackup from cydia and it worked it just took a long time to restore but all was back the way i had it before

Thanks, I didn’t realis that was possible with touches; I’ve only ever read into iPhone jailbreaking and assumeed the same would be true for touches.

i have my ipod touch jailbroken on firmware 2.2.1 but i want it jailbroken on firmware 3.1 so i have to get firm ware 3.0 first and then jailbreak it with redsnow and then i can use pwnage tool to jailbreak it to 3.1

when i had the 3.0.1 i did have it jailbreaken but i updated the to the 3.1 and i havnt jailbreake the 3.1
