    They should of used another test, like a small cut. There are more factors that could have contributed to cold resistance than just nerves. Also, women are viewed as weaker than men mostly because of how often they show pain and how they respond to it. If a man were to stub his toe, he’d probably hide it, because he’d be called weak if he showed pain. A woman on the other hand wouldn’t care to show it, and probably wouldn’t be judged wrong for doing so.

    I think it has to do with the fact that women have higher body fat then men. You’ll notice that the only man who got to the limit had a fairly hight body fat.
