It is a program so you can create your own music. <p>Creating your own songs MTV Music Generator is a joke. It takes very little time to figure things out and any one can sit down and create a great song. The game also comes with about 11 songs that have already been made.<p>This title deserves 5 Stars just for that but you can also create your own Music Video for the songs you make. Althought they are just flashy 3-D effects it is still fun to make them go with your song. Or you can have the game create one for you so you don't have to do the work.<p>There is also a Jam mode where you can play up to 4 players just creating music together. I found that this got boring fast but it is fun mainly when you have lots of friends over and you all play it together.<p>Overall, if you like music or you are just looking for something different on the PlayStation check this title out. I really haven't tried all the features yet like the multiplayer mode but it seems pretty nice so far. In less than ten minutes without the instruction book I had created my own 30 second video and had already started playing around with a bunch of the options. The ability to have it randomly generate a video and then allow you to play one of your own CDs is pretty cool as well especially since it creates some very creative videos in what appears to be a completely random fashion. The learning curve for this software is almost flat. However the biggest problem appears to be the load times between examining the built in audio and video cuts. Moreover since you can't sample them very well till you import them that is a problem as well, but overall this "game" if you want to call it that is definitely worth the price.
