   I was hesitent but it was cheap so would just through it out if I didn’t like it.

   I like the thickness of it, it is a mirror you can really use and I have no problem seeing though it, have had NO issues with the touch screen meaning I still am able to control/do things just as I did without the mirrored screen. It also makes it hard for others to read so it kind of offers some privacy. In bright light you may have to hold the phone a certain way. For me I wouldn’t be using it much in bright sunlight anyway. watching a video or looking at photos would be in a shaded or indoor environment. Being it is a mirror be careful not to blind yourself when out in bright sun!

   Some may not like it and I gave it 4 stars as no matter how careful or how many times I have applied these types of things I always get s few tiny air bubbles. Hey it is cheap, you don’t like it toss it. I like it as it has dual purpose over standard screen protectors.

   The screen protector gave me pause before I put it on–it has a serious chromatic rainbow effect when viewed at anything but straight on–and I mean anything off straight. Also, it is just hard to see through when you hold it to the light. On the plus (only plus so far) is it is thick. Once on, the mirror effect is so pronounced, and the darkness so bad, you have to crank the screen brightness up like crazy. In addition to killing battery life just to see, it destroys the beautiful colors the DX screen has. The “mirror” effect is full time–not just when it is off. I know what I look like–I want to be able to see the screen! The chromatic rainbow effect mentioned earlier comes from the screen backlight itself–crank up screen brightness to see through the screen protector, make the chromatic effect worse. Lose-lose.

   I also am having all sorts of screen sensitivity issues with this protector, getting random or missed touches. It’s off mine, I’m going back with the stock ones sold by Verizon. $15 for a 3-pack from Verizon works out the same cost wise, and works MUCH better with the phone.

   I like simple and effective products. The Luxmo mirror screen protector provides dual-functionality: it keeps your screen free from harm’s way and provides a mirror when the phone is off. The screen is completely usable and the quality is not diminished. The instructions for sticking this screen protector on your phone could not be easier and the cloth to use before putting it on is helpful. Highly recommend!

   After the screen is applied… when you look at your screen through the mirror there is a rainbow type coloring… did not expect for my screen to be a holographic after i applied this. Kind of ruined the experience of the droid x and it’s amazing display.
