The notebooks aren’t by any means fantastic. They have no perforations to tear the pages out, and a lot of the pages were lacking lines. Buy another kind of notebook if you can.

I love these notebooks for class. The paper is a good shade of white and they are just nice looking notebooks. Box comes with a random number of each color (yellow, red, green, turquoise, blue, and purple). Haven’t been able to find these in a store anywhere.

In my company’s relentless search to find the cheapest office supplies they stocked our storage room with these notebooks. The pages are tissue paper thin and the front/back covers are very flimsy. I feel a certain shame when I bring these notebooks to meetings.

My daughter goes through about 15-20 of these notebooks a year in High School. The last time we went to a B&M store to purchase them they were out of the College Ruled ones and only had Wide Ruled, which isn’t accepted in her school. I was very happy and surprised to see that Amazon had them for less than $1, so I picked up the limit of three. They are now on the list of items I will order regularly, easy enough to add to any order I’m placing to avoid shipping them on their own and causing more wasted packaging.

I bought a big bunch of these four years ago and they were excellent, better than anything I could find anywhere else.
I just bought another batch of these at the beginning of 2010 and they are AWFUL. Cheap, flimsy, exactly what all the other notebooks were like four years ago.
I’ve no idea what I’ll be buying next, but it WON’T be these (unless someone out there is selling “Vintage” Mead Notebooks.
