The video and music detract from Mr. Watts speech.

@redliterocket4 I think you need to define ‘control’ a little more precisely. For instance, I can go in my backyard and plant beans and continue to cultivate a plot of land for many years. I am making a conscious decision in the rearrangement of nature which may constitute ‘controlling’. But is rearrangement really ‘absolute control’? Doubtful

so I just listened to it while playing world of warcraft. That game has some beautiful scenery. I didn’t notice the pix.. I’m just here looking for what that music is. DIdn’t sound like moby to me sounds like generic ambient techno. I used to listen to that stuff but lost those cds a long time ago and want to buy more again. So if anyone knows some good artists/dj’s please reply here.

Moby goes great with Alan Watts!!
I usually put music on while I listen to Allen or Padma Vagra or whomever. This type of music with few lyrics goes great. Thanks for posting!

Once again well said. I find myself wanting to learn more than ever and being able to accomplish so many fulfilling things.
I see a great divide in the world these days and I know in time we will all start to make better choices and realize our true powers to be anything, do anything, and live a life free of control and fear.
I am with you though, and can not comprehend how so many sit idle wasting their lives. It is beautiful how we all express ourselves in dif. ways while being one.

That is the world I am aiming for.
I believe we will manifest it in our lifetimes with a great shift in consciousness that continues to accelerate.
See you there my friend. I love the roofus quote on your profile from Bill and Teds.
Peace out

I normally don’t comment on petty things, but this time I wanted to. Have you considered that perhaps this person was inspired by the video and wanted the song without the words so that they could, indeed, discover their own thoughts without Mr. Watts’s voice distracting them? Or perhaps they just liked the song? I don’t think you took away much from the purposelessness message Alan was talking about here, did you? Does this person even NEED a purpose to want to know the name of the song?

MY ego? MY body?
Who are you then? I’d rather say ‘the ” I ” die’. Nice vid! 5*

For fuck sake, is that all you ever ask. Whats the song called…. Can’t you discover your own thoughts.
July 25th, 2010 - 01:30
whats the song and artist called?
July 25th, 2010 - 02:24
MAN!!!!!!
I added this video to my favorates until I saw the abused animal. I am against that stuff. The last thing I want to see while listening to alan watts speech is suffering animals! Until I saw the abused suffering animal I removed this from my favs. UGH! Why does this wonderful speach have to be ruined.

Great piece. Music is a little bit loud though.
July 25th, 2010 - 03:26
The music affirms what Mr. Watts is speaking of.
Play. The fact that music has no purpose, is the value of this music.
It is a delightful mix of lecture and play.
