A simple fail safe would have been to inextricably tie the federal minimum wage in with the COST OF LIVING; at it’s inception.. This would have prevented ALL the economic calamity that now faces America/Americans. THINK FOLKS THINK. It was no less than pure evil that both republicans and democrats did not do this, it was evil genius. The original figure for min. wage was not pulled out of thin air. It was based upon ‘The Market Basket of Goods’ (an economist term); housing, food, water, etc.

Lou Dobbs is great presidential material. Informed, fair, energetic, authoritative and of course a terrific communicator and listener.
Too bad one can not choose presidents outside a party but have to settle for party members only, which is quite communistic and anti-democratic if you think about it.

Stoping the job magnet isnt’ the only answer. Theres a term in economics that if you subsidize something you get more of it. Well we subsidize illegal immigration through the promise of jobs, free health care, and free eductaion. So if we want to stop the flow of illegal immigration, simply stop subsidizing them.

Lou appears to be a status quo guy to me. He never say the poor(which is typical of status quo people). He sounds racist when it comes to mexico, cause he attacks , from what I heard only them.
