I know whatcha mean, however there are different degrees of vocal production. Most bands that do this only do pitch correction and stabilization for their studio recordings. But then you get “vocalists” like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, or the fricken Jonas Brothers that are so altered that it begins to sound synthesized as you said. This degree of vocal altering cannot be done live as it requires extensive post-production. In this case they mess with literally everything they can.

but… the voice doesnt sound “electric” like people who use pitch. if you use pitch your voice changes a little electric-ish.. i dont hear this here

They definitely do, this is known. Go to 0:52 and listen closely when he says feeling. That super sharp dramatic change in pitch is quite evident.
