   Hit a post with my side view mirror and broke only the glass, none of the plastic housing. Believing this to be a cheap thing to replace, I went to the dealer, only to find out that the cost of replacement would be between $100 and $400. Shocked, I went to the junk yard, where the replacement I found was a mere $75. So I looked on. Checked with two local glass companies, both of whom were willing to replace the tiny mirror for $125. Then I found this item here on amazon. It came today, and all I can say is WOW!!!. It fit perfectly on the factory mount, and took all of one minute to install. Thank you for a great deal! The three week wait was well worth it, especially with the free shipping. While I hole to never break another mirror, if I do, I know where to shop.

   I made the mistake of assuming that there were wires with the glass….this is glass only!
