Is there currently a jailbreak for the iPod touch 3rd generation for firmware 3.1.3?
Reader question: I accidentally updated my firmware and now the blackra1n jailbreak does not work on my iPod touch 3g. So im wondering if there is a working jailbreak for the iPod touch 3g 3.1.3
P.S. I have the MC model. and also i HAVE TRIED downgrading the firmware to 3.1.2. but i keep getting a message that says Not Compatible.

i have no idea, but i can tell you another way to downgrade (assuming this isnt what you tried)
google for an .ipsw that is made for ipod touch 3g, and that IS jailbreakble (im guessing anything below 3.1.2?) then put you itouch into recovory mode ( google for how to) then go to itunes, hold down the alt key (or shift) (or apple / command if using a mac) and click on the restore button. this will open a window for you to browse for the .ipsw that we downloaded earlier. this will restore your ipod to that version thus downgrading it.
back up your ipod, since you will lose any info during the process
