Is the Droid X the only version of the Droids that has 3G Mobile Hotspot?
Reader question: I really like the hotspot feature on the palm pixi but I'm getting a Droid phone and I think the only one of the Droid phones with this capability is the Droid X. Is this true?

There are apps that’ll do that. Really.

The Droid X is currently the only phone that has the Hotspot feature stock.
But the hotspot feature is a feature that will be available to all Droid phones (any phone running Android operating system) when the update to Android 2.2 comes out, which is supposed to be by the end of the summer, probably the next few weeks. So even phones like the Motorola Droid, HTC Incredible, LG Ally and Motorola Droid 2 when it comes out, will have the 3G Hotspot feature.
The feature is an extra $20/mo though, but you can remove the feature for months you wont be using it and just add it for months you want it easily from my verizon, or calling up to customer service.
