   does anyone think this is a waste of money?? im thinking about buying an ipad..
   ive never bought anything from apple…
   never baught a ipod i baught a zune
   never baught a mac i have a pc
   never baught an iphone i got a palm
   soo is this a waste of money if i dont have an iphone or anything related to apple

   Whats up with the production values of this video? It looks likes like she did this in her bedroom with the lights off. Couldn’t she have streamed the video from the ipad/ iphone into a program instead of just using her camera? Also the editing looks like something a high schooler did. Not nitpicking mind you, just trying to improve the overawe experience for the fellow end users like myself.

   @nathenh Personally I think its the other way around… All I’m saying is that Apple took what they already had and made it better. They made the iPod Touch bigger. Bigger screen means better apps. The apps are only better because there’s more screen to work with. The bookstore is going to be on both the iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch.

   But when it comes down to it, If you take your 27″ TV and sell it to buy 60″ is it not still a TV but bigger?

   @nathenh Think about it, why would netflix be on an iPhone with its tiny screen. Watching movies on the iPhone sucks, My neck still hurts if I look down too much. Its possible but very uncomfortable. Also no one I know has typed an entire document on their phone or used a spreadsheet, but there are apps for that . And unless you dont read the Bookstore Is coming to OS4.0 (I think not entirely sure).

   @goohman not really. there are some apps that do things that iPhone apps can’t do. not just because of the screen size. I have netflix and am unable to watch netflix movies on my iPhone but will be able to on the ipad. also there are slideshow presentation software, a word processor, and a spreadsheet program. not to mention I will save hundreds of dollars a year on textbooks by downloading them instead of paying full price for the books.

   @nathenh yea, because they need a bigger screen. Apps are no different other than iPad apps have more options because of its screen.

   Its a great device but to me its a waste of money

   @goohman no there are many apps that are ONLY available on the iPad and CANNOT be downloaded on the iPhone or iPod Touch.

    @Ac3Tech Sorry, I thought you meant compared with other companies in their field. Microsoft, for example, is only 2 years older. Canonical Ltd. (behind Ubuntu) will be 6 years old this year. Google is 11½ years old.

    @erinra ERrr YA.. apple is young you know.. compared to say sony.. i mean they can’t even listen to customers and give us what we want…. so they got the ball rolling who cares.. theres been stuff like videos recording multitasking ect on phones wayy before the iphone… apple sucks.. simple
