Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich arrested
Exclusive video!
Federal prosecutors alleged Blagojevich sought appointment as Secretary of Health and Human Services in the new Obama administration, or a lucrative job with a union in exchange for appointing a union-preferred candidate. Blagojevich and Harris conspired to demand the firing of Chicago Tribune editorial board members responsible for editorials critical of Blagojevich in exchange for state help with the sale of Wrigley Field, the Chicago Cubs baseball stadium owned by Tribune Co. Jaison JAMES Angeveettil, RSIS Singapore

Rod Bendovabitch
February 24th, 2010 - 04:47
you must not be from Illinois. The guy is so guilty on even more matters than was made public. He closed down all the state parks and historic sites looking for a contribution too.
February 24th, 2010 - 05:24
So when is someone going to admit that Rod resembles Alfred E. Neuman? They both share the same old line: “What? Me worry?”. Talk about smug and shameless!
February 24th, 2010 - 05:58
yep now lets get his soon to be leader barack we know they were in it together
February 24th, 2010 - 06:43
haha he just apointed a replacement for Obama, a former Illinois AG who is 71, hillarious, despite being indicted he named someone to that seat and apparently the guy accepted, oh man Rod is a real life soap opera, Obama should have forced him to resign and given him a post somewhere near Siberia shortly after the elction so as the get the guy out of here and save himself a head acke.

Blago’s got lots of sex appeal. I think it’s his edgy and arrogant attitude that turns me on.
February 24th, 2010 - 07:11
I think he’s innocent. All they have is phone conversations, they don’t have any proof that he did anything illegal.
February 24th, 2010 - 07:26
i cant watch this video
im on cam and bored Q3
February 24th, 2010 - 08:20

February 24th, 2010 - 08:22
I see you again, and again I say you hav a strange sense of ethics.
February 24th, 2010 - 08:25
Did that one lady say Rod Bla-garbage? It sounded like it.
February 24th, 2010 - 08:57
Made me laugh
February 24th, 2010 - 09:50
Excellent! Yes, they are self-respecting & honest gangsters. In America though, politics & the State are a quasi-religion. Blagojevich has sinned through attempted non-consecrated theft & the priesthood & laity alike clamor for his excommunication.
February 24th, 2010 - 10:06
HAha! Americans are so funny. In Ukraine, every self-respecting politician takes his cut from the national treasury and abuses his authority in all possible ways.
February 24th, 2010 - 10:41
bo is much worse than blag i cant believe this a big deal its not like he sat in a racist cult and bought his wife a job and voter fraud real estate scams and on and on. If the democrats wanted someone with any ethics or experience they would have voted Nater.
February 24th, 2010 - 11:39
Business as usual in Chicago, and government in general.
February 24th, 2010 - 12:18
No dude, I am still proud to be an American, I am just not proud of the people we continue to elect to lead us? People like you, and me and many others are fed up with corruption in Washington. Makes me sick! We need people that have nothing to do with Washington, and special interests. Congress does not represent the U.S. citizen anymore!
February 24th, 2010 - 12:40
The female guest is basically saying that this is nothing new to pick a candidate with financial backers with the governors interest in hand. She is saying this is business as usual, and where the public may see it as deviant, but this is how they do it. She is saying this sounds worse than what it really is. This is same old, same old politics.

I think that the Cowboys have a great chance this weekend at home versus the Giants. The wildcard race is shaping up to be a very excited one. Go Britney!

Washington Post:
“Obama saw this coming, and he was very cautious about not having dealings with the governor for quite some time,” said Abner Mikva, a former congressman and appeals court judge who was Obama’s political mentor in Chicago. “The governor was perhaps the only American public officeholder who didn’t speak at the convention, and that wasn’t by accident. He’s politically poisonous. You don’t get through Chicago like Barack Obama did unless you know how to avoid people like that.”
