  4. Our choir has a bass and tenor section.. You should be fine in any choir. They should embrace u!!

  5. I thank God for this choir. I have never been to Howard University, but I have heard about the choir. When I am down and discouraged, I listen to this song, and other videos that they have on this site. There is definitely an anointing on this ministry. I Love you guys!!! Stay Blessed.

  6. @thomassan17 Thanks for askin doc. It was a B major 9 chord to a Bb major 9 chord.

  7. Beautiful! And that man is making the piano sing!

  8. Say: He is God, the One and Only;

    God, the Eternal, Absolute;

    He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;

    And there is none like unto Him

  10. Thank you LORD!!! this song gets me EVERYTIME!!!… the beauty and praise of this song is outstanding.

  11. No puc parar d’escoltar aquesta cançò… com m’agrada ¡¡. Trobo que aquesta coral té una qualitat molt bona, i el que és millor encara és que arriba… canten amb el cor.

  12. I thank God for the ministry of this choir. They don’t oversing this song. They don’t under sing it either. There are no unnecessary theatrics or fancy choreography.

    Their interpretation of this song is simply exceptional and anointed.

    Choirs like this today are not common.

  13. the progression-i think instead of hitting straight on the one chord, he plays something like a VI chord first and then lands on the one chord w/ a 9 on top

  14. That man is playin that piano!

  15. Does anyone know what that progression is from 3:12-3:15?

  16. My brutha, just because you’re a bass doesn’t mean you can’t sing in a gospel choir. I have a bass section and we sing gospel, hymns, anthems, and spirituals. You just need to find a competent director who can teach a bass part instead of letting basses sing an octave under the tenors. Hope you find it, and sing to the glory of God, my brutha.

  17. YungCoke!!! just a shout out! . I love this song too!!! Howard Gospel Choir, Be blessed! God bless you all!

  18. GIA publishes this arrangement. It begins with a solo part, then goes to the chorus, which Howards starts off with… It can be ordered online…GIA also host reading workshops, in various States…There you can get copies of the the sheet music along with sample CDs…Dr. James Abbington conducts the reading workshops in Chicago, which are FABULOUS!!

  19. I have chills all over my body!!! Being a bass, I so wish I could sing in a gospel choir.

  20. The lyric are:

    Lord I hear of, showers of blessing,
    Thou are scattering full and free
    Showers the thirty, souls refreshing
    Let some drops now fall on me

    Even me Lord, even me,
    Let some drops now fall on me.

  21. Where can I find the lyrics to this song?

  22. Can you please tell me how can I find this composition?

  23. I’ve watched all the videos of you all performing this song and this version by far is one of the best! The Control this ensemble has under the leadership of SUCH AN ANOINTED Man of God is AMAZING!! Great job Cliff and HGC! I play this video over and over and over and over and over….k u get it. God bless you

  24. who’s song is this?

  25. Jumpoff6684, it eventually resolves to A flat major. The chorus plays around in D flat major but ends on a B flat major chord.
