How useless is the iPad’s internet without 3g?
Reader question: I was thinking of getting the non-3g version but a lot of the apps require internet connection and I was wondering how pointless it would be to buy the wifi version.

A hard working adult sweats up to 4 gallons per day. Most of the sweat evaporates before a person realizes it’s there, though!

It’s just an Ipod Touch. And also the Ipad can’t call anybody anyways, so what’s the point ? Your better off buying a laptop.

I’m using one right now (non-3G)
I have to say, that it is perfectly fine for me not having the 3G version, because I also have an iPhone. I usually only use my iPad at home, so it’s always connected to my Wi-Fi.
If you will take your iPad everywhere, you might want the 3G version, so you can stay connected 24/7.

I have Wi-Fi version and it’s awesome. I use it at home, office restaurant ,airports and at many public places. Wi-Fi is available everywhere.
