   windows thinks that it is a zip file, but it is not. simply save to desktop and do not try and unzip it

   OK im not sure whats wrong.. i want to snowbreeze my iphone 3G.. but when i try to load the custom firmware the damn itunes says it is not the correct firmware for this rebuild??? i usually dont have problems

   Download sn0wbreeze again. Then download the 3.1.2 firmware from felix bruns. 3.1.3 will only work if you have an already jailbroken device

   Hey im having alot of trouble in step two. when i browse it it says ” Not a valid 3.1.3 IPSW ” im confused to this point. please help! and i also down loaded the correct firmware.. i think?

   it shouldn’t be. make sure you hold down the shift key and press the restore button simultaneously

    they say you can use 3.1.3 but really I would stick with 3.1.2 if you can

    It isn’t a zip just save as and not open with (whatever zip program you use) Windows thinks it is an archived file when in reality it is not

    Make sure you save as and not unzip it. Windows asks to unzip the file

    I did not make you do anything. It helps if you follow directions. This is coming from someone who couldn’t figure out what a link was or where to get the firmware.
