   Im your guy!

   Download and install QuickFreedom. (direct download link)
   http://ipod2g.info/Download/click.php?id=1

   Make sure your iPod Touch has firmware 2.2.1 on it, look on iTunes,
   and then download the 2.2.1 firmware (direct download link)
   http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-5863.20090127.rt56K/iPod2,1_2.2.1_5H11a_Restore.ipsw

   Run QuickFreedom.

   Click “Jailbreak iPod”
   You’ll be taken to a screen with a lot of red Xs.. let’s fix them

   Click “Install Lib-USB”, after installation, restart QuickFreedom
   Click “Browse”, NOT DOWNLOAD
   Browse for the firmware you download, the firmware will then copy.

   Once copied, you can press next, and proceed with the following:

   1) Check wether you want to install Installer (Cydia comes with it)
   2) Uncheck (if not already) “Already Jailbroken”
   3) Check wether you want custom boot logos (I wouldn’t..)
   4) Press “Create Firmware”

   Once firmware is created, “Custom Firmware.ispx” will be on your desktop.
   Press next and proceed with the following:

   1) Plug your iPod in (if not already).

   2) Put into DFU Mode by:

   Pressing HOME and POWER buttons until screen goes black
   When screen goes black:
   Release the POWER, but keep pressing HOME until you hear the chime on your computer, Apple Recovery Device will be detected

   3) On QuickFreedom, it should say:
   “Device connected in DFU Mode” on lower left hand corner

   4) Press “Start Pre-Jailbreak”
   5) Your iPod screen will go white (don’t be worried)
   6) After the box comes up saying iTunes bla bla bla.. close QuickFreedom
   7) By now iTunes has come up saying that a device has been detected bla bla bla restore mode Press and hold SHIFT while clicking RESTORE
   9) On your desktop, choose “Custom Firmware.ispx”
   10) Sit back, watch the progress.
   11) When your iPod restarts, you’re jailbroken
