    just install itunes 9.2
    then plug in your ipod touch or iphone
    then click “update” or “check for updates”

    its free anyway, you don’t need to get it through another site other than on the itunes program!!!

    hey koi this didnt work when i shift>update but i tried shift>restore and it works like a charm (accept i had to put all my music apps etc back on) thanks again koi

    sooo no need to upgrade if ur iphone 3gs. theres is no unlock or jailbreak for it yet. if u wanna lose ur jailbreak go ahead if u dont, dont do it just wait untill there is a jailbreak there will be one later probably.

    yes there is an unlock for the 4.0, my iphone 3G is on 4.0 right now and its unlocked through ultra sn0w.
