@Dolmanation – refer to your manual. Some guys do it with every oil change and some guys do it every other. I do it every time. We have filters for around $3.

@bobisbackinblack2555 – they are separate on that bike.
June 21st, 2010 - 00:20
are the crf450r trany and Motor Oil separated or not
June 21st, 2010 - 00:39
@coshyno – the copper or aluminum washer on the drain bolt. It should be changed eventually if it gets too smashed.
June 21st, 2010 - 00:52
@asommer14 – That bike most likely only has one drain plug. It does not seperate the transmission and engine oil like the CRF250 and CRF450 does.

@hovchov123 – refer to your manual for the correct type. make sure to use a quality oil made for motorcycles. I am sure 10w-40 would be fine as long as it is the right quality. I use Pro honda, yamalube, maxima, or Belray in my bikes.
June 21st, 2010 - 08:24

@hondaridergeorge I found that information through searching google, I suggest you at least try. Did you try searching for “what is a quart?” in any search engine? Did you search for CRF150R oil capacity or manual? Give it a shot!
