How soon after having sex will you start to get morning sickness?
Reader question: Yesterday, I had unprotected sex and today I threw up without feeling sick like, at all. I'm just wondering, is it possible that this is morning sickness? or is it too soon after sex to be morning sickness?

You don’t start feeling pregnant until 2-6 or more weeks after having sex.

Way too soon. Morning sickness happens once the hormonal changes due to pregnancy have started affecting your body and it is too early for that to be happening with you. You will have to wait a number of weeks to find out if you are pregnant.

You can only get pregnant when your ovulating for one, and it doesnt happen that fast it takes a few weeks for the morning sickness. maybe not my business but you sound young and immature about the whole thing. try birth control, condoms, or waiting till your married for sex and babies..

Way too soon. It usually takes a week after conception for the baby to implant into the uterus and start producing the hormones that cause morning sickness.

way to soon it could take your egg 3-4 days to implant and then for the hormones to get into your body that could take at the least 9 days-14 days so very unlikely

Morning sickness generally doesn’t set in until you are between 7-9 weeks pregnant… Some get it sooner, some get it later, some never get it at all, but on average, it takes quite some time before you get the classic pregnancy symptoms such as morning sickness.
It’s not possible for you to have any symptoms if you just had sex yesterday b/c you’re not even pregnant yet. It takes 2-3 days for the sperm to even FIND the egg and then 6-12 days for the egg to implant into the uterus and start producing the hormones that cause symptoms.
So you’re just stressing out for no reason.

Toooo soon. You’re probably just worried about it, and it’s making you nervous and stressed out, therefore causing you to be sick.
