How does itunes and other music stores get the rights to the songs they sell?
Reader question: How do majore music stores, like itunes, which allow u to downlaod a song for a dollar, get the copyrights to those songs? Also, how much do those copyrights cost?

well, I have some songs copyrighted to me in Italy.
I registered with “SIAE” and these are the people who itunes must deal with if they want to publish/sell the songs.
