How do you transfer iTunes music from one computer to another one that has Vista?
Reader question: I have Windows XP at home with iTunes and just purchased an HP laptop with Windows Vista. As of now, I have no internet on the laptop and so therefore no iTunes. But I do have a 2gig SanDisk USB drive. Does anyone know how I could possibly transfer my iTunes songs from my old computer to my new , taking into account my circumstances?

The way i know is to put them all on your ipod, download one of those free trials for the software transfer ipod music to itunes, and use it, worked with me!

You must download iTunes onto your laptop to be able to transfer your music. But once you have it, all you have to do is tell them your account and password and authorize your laptop. then you can transfer with your iPod bye right clicking iPod and clicking trancefer purchases. If the songs on itunes were not purchased at itunesm, you can transfer them not installing itunes. Just go to my computer and find the files then put them on your flashdrive.
