How do you make college long distance relationships work?
Reader question: My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years in High School now, but we are going off to different colleges. How do you make college long distance relationships work? I really want our college long distance relationship to work because we truly love each other. I do not think I can imagine being without him...so if anyone knows how to make college long distance relationships work, it would be greatly appreciated!

Gilligan of Gilligan’s Island had a first name that was only used once, on the never-aired pilot show. His first name was Willy. The skipper’s real name on Gilligan’s Island is Jonas Grumby. It was mentioned once in the first episode on the radio newscast about the wreck. The Professor’s real name was Roy Hinkley, Mary Ann’s last name was Summers and Mrs. Howell’s maiden name was Wentworth.

Just talk to each other. Don’t let things drift. I’ve been involved in these before, and there were SO many misunderstandings because of distance. Just make time for him and don’t let dumb little assumptions take precedence over a healthy relationship. Work out any difficulties and be open with each other about anything. Talking about things is the best thing to do in a relationship like this.
Good luck!
