You can install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager program and either use the Device Switch Wizard or perform a backup of the old device, then restore to the new device.

I agree with Crackberry addict. It has to be done using the desktop software. That is if the software will pick up the texts. Depending on how many you have you could forward them to yourself via email – that way you will still have them.
