How do I transfer music from my ipod touch to a newly downloaded itunes library?
Reader question: I recently had to reload windows on to my pc. I downloaded itunes and when I went to sync, it told me that all of the music on my ipod would be replaced by the music in the library, which is none. I stopped the process but still need to know how to get the music from my ipod to my itunes library.

I recommend AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer which can transfer your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos back to computer and iTunes.
If you own more than one iPods, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop.
Hope it helps!

i use this… http://download.cnet.com/Pod-to-PC/3000-18545_4-10900147.html it’s only a trial but they let you use it as much as you want (but you can only do ten at a time and they make you wait 10 seconds after to do another 10 songs).
Also, this isn’t really a good question for answers. you just get bombarded with ads.

Although iTunes program is very good at keeping a computer-based library synchronized to an iPod automatically it provides exreamly limited functionality for transferring info in the opposite direction-from your iPod back to your computer. one of the likely reasons for Apple to have taken such a restrictive approach to this is to combat piracy and thereby maintain good relations with the music brands that are selling their selling their content via Apple iTunes Store. so it has therefore fallen into the three party developers to pick up where iTunes left off in this regard. and i give a high recommendation to Aniosoft iBackup, which is very robust and full-featured utilitie that will do everything from basic coping of media content back to your hard drive all the way through to rebuilding your entire library using the info on your iPod,complete with playlists, ratings ,and play count info.Among all these apps i would like to recommend Aniosoft ibackup.it enables you to transfer iPod’s music and other content to any storage device and iTunes as well. And both the backup in the storage device can be recovered and restored with no any change and no any risk. And the data in the iTunes is quite in accord with the iPod’s data including its playlists, rating and etc.
So in your case, you can make a music transfer from your iPod to the iTunes in your computer with this tool and also make a backup for the ipod’s content somewhere in your computer as well in case of any other data lost or accidently hard crash.

Good luck to you.
