How can I jailbreak my ipod touch 3rd generation with 3.1.3 firmware?
Reader question: I want to jailbreak my ipod but I didn't know you couldn't jailbreak 3.1.3 until after I updated it. I do NOT want to restore it. Is there any software that will jailbreak it or do I have to wait until snowbreeze or blackra1n comes out with the software?

Spirit- http://spiritjb.com/ then click your Operating system near the bottom(Windows or Mac OS X.). The same thing happened to me, and I jailbroke my 3.1.3 iPod Touch with Spirit. Once you install it, run it and click the Jailbreak button in the application. Then your iPod will reboot and come up with a screen saying that Spirit is jailbreaking your iPod.
