@SuperformanceMK3 they are! the next ls engine will be 5.5 L and make 440hp 420lbs ft of torque.
August 23rd, 2010 - 00:00
The LS3 is one of the best N/A motors out there, with nothing more then a cam and headers you get near 500hp…and no change in reliabilty. Hopefully GM continues improving it and the corvette.

Grand piece of junk.

i love vettes and stangs but unlike GM,ford has to take the stang to modification intelligence to make the stang fast,an entry level vette has a 3.9 time in 0-60,thats really fast for a stock car and for a car that cost only around 60k

@s10eagles Now that you mention it, I agree! HAHA

@rarejd I still don’t really understand this point if new zealand has car makers than they are obviously not as good as american cars and european cars that almost everyone knows about.
August 23rd, 2010 - 02:20
@TheDodgeChallenger People get A’s by taking easy classes too, A’s don’t prove intelligence.
And I was referring to the image you portray by having misspelled words, and saying “New Zealand” hasn’t made any cars, when if you really think about it, no country itself has ever made a car company. The sentence just doesn’t make sense.
August 23rd, 2010 - 02:29
@rarejd I misspelled a few words big deal i was in a rush! If I was an “uneducated swine” I wouldn’t get all A’s my whole life.
August 23rd, 2010 - 02:43
@TheDodgeChallenger Aston Martin and TVR are both British cars, but very different. To say “New Zealand has never made a car” is grammatically incorrect. Maybe “no companies from New Zealand have ever made a note worthy car” is closer to what you were trying to say. If your grammar is a representative behind the types of people that buy “American Cars,” you end up portraying the uneducated swine people have come to associate with Dodge, and American products. Aren’t generalizations fun?

Spinning tire is funner than a second in the Q-mile. Takes talent too.

August 23rd, 2010 - 05:24
@gixxxer1000 i think you are right lol
August 23rd, 2010 - 05:30
@gixxxer1000
I liked him better that way, you didn’t have to sit there waiting for a reporter to slowly get to the point.
August 23rd, 2010 - 05:48
They should change the front face of the Vette. It’s old, boring and the headlights is ugly. Just take a look at the ferrari italia.
August 23rd, 2010 - 06:02
Three questions.. is the rear fender the same width as the z06? I know its fiberglass instead of carbon but it it the exact same ” part”? Also, i heard that the stability kicks in even in comp mode, is there a way to turn it OFF completely..,meaning disable it? lastly, is the dual mode exhaust AT IDLE AND below 3k QUIETER than the n/a mode exhaust. thanks!
August 23rd, 2010 - 06:53
The Grand sport is about 20k less than a Z06, a set of Headers, an Ex pipe, cold air intake, and a Dyno tune will get you close to a Z06 performance at a huge savings, and you can have a convertible!
August 23rd, 2010 - 07:50
I really like how good corvette has gotten and is getting, keep it up.
August 23rd, 2010 - 08:00
soupy
August 23rd, 2010 - 08:36
@MilitantOldLady yeah but if you want a great performing car that looks great thats not as harsh as the z06 on the road and that’s not too expensive this makes alot of sense especialy with the targa top

August 23rd, 2010 - 09:57
well i know that! im a 21 year old who would do awfull things for a corvette.. but im afraid that by the time i can afford one, i’ll be just some old loser trying to pick up girls a third of my age in a new vette.
August 23rd, 2010 - 10:12
@1flynlow I think every 18 to 34 yo American male right now would gladly own one of these babys! Its just a matter of affordability! Those who have the $ for this type of car generally tend to be a bit older… so what?
August 23rd, 2010 - 10:58
yea it may be less powerfull but its a convertible, thats nice in the sommer!
August 23rd, 2010 - 11:23
i agree!
