Droid X Hardware Review
Exclusive video!
Here's a look at the hardware of the Verizon Motorola Droid X. The 4.3" display is less wide and more tall compared to the HTC HD2, because it has slightly higher resolution in the virtical direction: 854 pixels, versus 800. Beyond that, the Droid X is a thin device. It has hardware buttons at the bottom of the screen. There is a fifth hardware button dedicated for the camera. The device has three microphones for use with the HD video recording. You can choose various scenes which will determine where the audio is being recorded from. Also included with the Droid X is a microHDMI type D connector. You can find this connector on eBay, so you don't have to buy one through Verizon.

I’ve had it for a week now and I am thinking to take it back today. It sux to fight with the hard buttons whenever you need to go back or Home. Not practical. If buttons were touch like regular Droid I could have considered it perfect.

Which Phone is better? Droid X or HTC HD2……??
September 3rd, 2010 - 05:26
It may be just me, but if I have a huge phone, I would better it be light than heavy.

ok so for it being low qualty thats retarded the only reason why it feels that way is cuz
its make to be lighter and easyer in the hand and for the iphone feeling heavy is cuz its smaller and more compact but decent review just was a dumb statement to says it feels bad when obviouly its not

Since when did weight become a desirable attribute for a pocket device?
Is the Droid X’s 5.47 ounces (155g) not heavy enough for you?
Unless the Droid X’s panels are ill / loosely fitted, or that it creaks, or its back scratches easily etc, there is really no justification to keep calling it ‘cheap’, ‘low quality’.
