and the new boot times are much faster still not enough to beat the bold 9000 but much faster than both the storms. around 1:45

my 9700 doesnt take 5…about 3 min or so. but no big deal….rarely ever do a battery pull. only when switching batteries

THough blackberry is known for taking 4ever to boot up ..and so r other phones .but cant u put a timer on it so it turns itself on so u dont hav to worry about it

RIM Should be ashamed of themselves. I have 9700 on AT&T and I can confirm above boot times on 5.0. It is totally unacceptable.
