Genuine blackberry – good quality leather – sturdy clip – 1/3rd the price than from my carrier – how can you go wrong?

This Blackberry holster works great as it looks good and it is easy to remove the blackberry when needed.

This holster is functional but, as other reviewers noted, it’s not built to last. My own broke after 3-4 months and had to be replaced. I’ve been using the BlackBerry Leather Swivel Holster for BlackBerry Curve 8300, 8310, 8320, 8330 (Pitch Black) ever since for about 2 years and this one has held my Blackberry at my waist almost every day. In all this time it did not break and my Blackberry did not drop or got scratched.
I like the following about this holster:
- designed to wrap around the Blackberry and not let it go unless pulled by owner
- clip attaches easily and safely to belt of almost any size but I use it with jeans without a belt
- very strong magnetic lock
- swivel rotes about 180 degrees (you force it to rotate more and yes, it WILL break)
- ‘free’ sides make it very easy to take it out quickly when needed
- designed to adapt itself to be used by several models
- good looks
- genuine black leather
- reasonably priced
What I don’t like and what makes all of the above irrelevant:
- it falls apart after a few months
Given the durability issue, this may be okay for ‘casual’ and very careful users but I don’t know too many casual BB users
. I will give it 3 stars which means “it’s Okay” on the Amazon scale. It’s not a disaster or an obvious rip-off but there are better alternatives.

This Blackberry Holster is great, not too bulky , it keeps the phone where it needs to be.

Broken in just under a month. The clip separated from the holster and my Berry went crashing to the ground.
Will keep looking for something better.
