I wanted the option of using the cable with the computer or the charging brick. I already have a charger that came with my BB that has an attached cable which is another wire in the bag! After matching the appropriate prong attachment with the wall socket, I attached the plug to the converter and then inserted the USB cable into the converter as well. <br /> <br />Everything worked perfectly and I had full use of my Blackberry for the next two weeks in Italy. <br /> <br />This travel charger does not come with any instrucitons, which might be useful to assuage the apprehensions of those who are not familiar with other nations' standard electrical outlets. Everything worked perfectly and I had full use of my Blackberry for the next two weeks in Italy.

Only the plug in portion came, no USB cord. I then requested a cord and WebTreo said they would mail one to me immediately, but none came.
