Screw the translation crap. Everyone knows there is something not right about this virus. This should be the main subject of comments not grammer. I have never seen so many commercials urging people about the flu’s and how we all should line up for vaccines. It seems to have 2 primary motives in my opinion population control and profits. It amazes me how people can loose focus on such things where we are constantly manipulated and treated like pawns on a chess board. Thanks for your focus Awake.

in this situation “translation” is only part of the job of a captioner, the actual translation may even come from a different source.

We have different definitions of translation then, but the extra info in parenthesis about the number of cases worldwide (where it incorrectly says deaths or what not) is very confusing to me since verbally she only says the number of fatal cases. Also she doesn’t say anything about that person being jailed. but again perhaps that’s just our different meanings of translation.

In the beginning of the video, it stated that Teresa had corrected some of the subtitles, which is why the corrections or extra info is in parenthesis.

That’s not how translation works, especially when translating a non-scripted message. An attempt is generally made to clear up vague or confusing points and to add other pertinent information where appropriate for clarity. It should, however, be carefully researched first, not saying this wasn’t, just saying it should be.

At the bottom of the sidebar it states the video’s “Source”. (which is her site).
Your last post said to “stick to translating what is said and not adding stuff” – an assumption that it was me who created or edited the translation. And as you did three posts and all of them were pointing out translation errors, it seemed to me that that was your focus.
All that being cleared up, I hope you enjoyed the video regardless.

I just pointed out what I did not hear her speak about in there that’s all. Just conitnuing what mantruc started to clear confusion of those who don’t speak spanish.

*aqhillie, I didn’t create this video. Read the sidebar info & you will see I merely reposted it & quoted her as the source! This was the nun’s production & she used her own helpers to do this translated version. If her errors are of such concern to you, then may I suggest you contact her directly & offer your translation assistance.
In the meantime, I hope you take the time to absorb the video’s message. She did a good job of providing important information despite a few translation errors.

I’m Spanish and she says “casos de muerto” which means cases of people dying.. but she says 137.. I can’t hear where she mentions 3,559 worldwide.. she says 137 cases of deaths worldwide.. i dunno where the 3,559 came from.

For people who don’t understand Spanish, there’s an important typo at 4:49 in the subtitles. Should read 3,559 cases worldwide, not deaths.
FWIW I got the nasal shot this morning and feel like crap this evening, worst reaction to a vaccine ever.
